Rules


Event:
The B&P Cup event will take place every year on the second weekend of September, every second year in Denmark and every second year in Sweden, though an anniversary event (every 5th year) can take place on another location. Regular events are played Fridays (4 Fourball/4 Foursome), Saturdays (4 Fourball/4 Foursome) and Sundays (8 single).
Anniversary events are played Thursdays (4 Fourball/4 Foursome), Fridays (4 Fourball/4 Foursome) and Saturdays (8 single).

Golf-/Match Rules:
The B&P Cup will at all times follow the official golf rules set by The Royal and Ancient Golf club of St. Andrews, official Ryder Cup rules and official rules for Fourball, Foursome and Single matches.

Membership:
The are at all times no more and no less than 18 members in The B&P Cup - 9 in each team. The Criteria to become a member are as follows:
- You have to male
- Danish or Swedish resident
- You have to have an official handicap
- Only by recommendation from an existing member

Membership is for lifetime as long as he participates in every years event or until a member decides to withdraw by his own free will . If a member chooses not to or is prevented to participate in a years event his team-mates decides if he will be excluded, the team only will use 8 players that particular year or call in a substitute.
The B&P Cup Board can decide to exclude a member if a member behave inappropriate.


Members fee:
The yearly fee for The B&P Cup membership is decided by The B&P Cup Board.

The B&P Cup Board:
The B&P Cup Board consist of 4 members 2 from each team. The Board will be elected for a one year period running from September to September. The board will meet as a minimum once a year no later than the first week of August. Click here to see the current Board.
